CR Transfer Day

College of the Redwoods will host admissions counselors from California State University, University of California, private, and out-of-state campuses to meet directly with students on the Eureka campus for Transfer Student Day on Monday, September 21, 2026. The event will be held from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Learning Resource Center on the Eureka campus.
Transfer Student Day is a drop-in event open to all College of the Redwoods students and community members interested in learning more about the transfer process to a university after attending CR. This event allows students to meet directly with college officials to receive information and prepare for their successful transfer to different universities and programs. Students can use the event to better understand what it means to be a transfer student, learn the steps required to transfer, or establish a personal plan to work toward their educational goals.
This year’s Transfer Student Day participants will include at a minimum the following university campuses:
CSU campuses: Cal Poly Humboldt, San Francisco State University, Sacramento State University, CSU San Bernadino
UC campuses: UC Davis, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara
Private and out of state colleges: Southern Oregon University, University of Montana Western, Touro University California, Simpson University, Pepperdine University
